S was a line operated by the Los Angeles Railway from 1920 to 1958, and by the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority from 1958 to 1963. It ran from Western Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard to Central Avenue and Firestone Boulevard, by way of Western Avenue, 3rd Street, Vermont Avenue, 7th Street, San Pedro Street, Avalon Boulevard, Gage Avenue, and Central Avenue.
